Hispanic Heritage Month Music Playlist - A Song for Each Hispanic Country

Updated: Sep 25, 2023

Music is a great way to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. You can play music in the morning throughout the whole school to get everyone involved or you can play it just in your classroom for your students. You can integrate it as part of your Hispanic Heritage Month lessons.

I have put together a short list of songs that you can share with your students and fellow teachers. I did check the lyrics to every song to make sure they were school appropriate, but some of the videos are not school appropriate. Please be sure to vet the videos before playing them in your classroom.

The songs I chose are not necessarily representative of the country's traditional music, but instead songs that students might enjoy. Each country is represented with at least one song. I tried to choose songs that were more upbeat to make listening to music more enjoyable.
