Thank You for funding Norma's Jamaica Mission Trip

I would like to THANK everyone that helped my sister Norma fund her mission trip to Jamaica.  She loved this incredibly rewarding experience.  It gave her great joy to use her skills to help so many people in need.  We are so proud of her for her generous and kind heart.
I would like to give you a little insight into the missionaries' day.  The mission trip lasted 7 days, with 4 of them being work days.  They worked in a clinic without any air conditioning.  Wearing their scrubs and face masks in temperatures of at least 85 degrees, it was a very hot and sweaty experience.  It was easy to overheat and get dehydrated.  They didn't have a scheduled break or lunch during their 8 hour shifts.  They had to make time to drink and eat in between patients.

The team consisted of a total of 33 people: 26 students working with patients, 3 students sterilizing and 4 doctors.  With everyone working together they helped a total of 442 patients.  They did 96 fillings, 155 cleanings and 417 extractions.
Between the monetary donations, t-shirt sales, and the sale of tamales, we did manage to raise the $1,400 Norma needed to make the trip.  A huge THANK YOU to all of you that helped make this trip possible!
"And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." (Colossians 3:17)
